Sunset Watching at SM Mall of Asia

Getting back on track now... :)

While exiting the Gateway Mall in Araneta Center (Quezon City), my sister and I still feels it was a little too early for us to go home. It was only a little past 3PM, so out of the blue we thought of going to SM Mall of Asia. I still have to take a picture of "sunset," so I said yes to the idea. We took the MRT (Metro Rail Transit) to Taft Avenue, and took a jeepney to SM Mall of Asia.

Before heading to the Bay Area, we went to buy some snacks first so we won't feel bored. It was a sunny afternoon, and although we liked the stay in the Bay Area, the sun rays were really wearing us out. Still hoping to get a good view of the sunset, we stayed and waited. Some of the pictures I took that afternoon:


In Different Colors. The sight when we got to the bay area. In order not to be "burned" by the sun, we sat on the ground by the wall. :)


Water on the Rocks. Watching the waves hit the rocks felt a little therapeutic if you ask me.


In Between. People weren't really allowed to stand at the wall, but I liked the idea of framing the sun in between my sister's legs, so we had a quick shot. Good thing the guards didn't see us!


Sunset Watchers. This area of the mall really attracts people for its great sunset. I guess everyone wants a good view of the sun going down.


Lovers. How sweet!




Last Shot. Turning back, I was awed by this view that I just had to take a picture of it.

Sister and I didn't wait for the sun to fully set anymore. Knowing that I already had the much needed sunset pictures, we decided to walk out, eat dinner, and travel back home.
